FUN WITH NANA AND BOOTIE

Nana and I walked to the Island in hopes of seeing many Eagles. We never made it to the river because the drifts were still too deep.

Kitty put himself in the basket bowl. He is a lot of company. He plays in the snow and seems to love being cold and wet. What a cat. Still miss Marco, but have given up on ever finding him. Sure hope someone is caring for him where ever he is. Marco is my cat I boarded when I went to Alaska, and he was lost by his caregivers. Very sad.

I love this old Rail Road Bridge. I loved it better when Glen was in the picture. Happy Trails

COUPLE DANCE LESSONS

I joined the Bootscooters Dance Club in Ottumwa, Iowa. These three are taking the couples dance lessons with me. Tom and Tammy are newly weds. Lots of fun.

Ron has agreed to be my partner for the lessons if I agree to be agreeable. Wish me luck.

They came to visit me on Sunday. I had been staying home because of the
clold weather. We had such a good time.

Lacey was reading the book to us. She is so funny.

MARY ANN'S FOX

This fox was eating a piece of bread Mary Ann had left out for the squirrels. I have seen a lot of fox around here, but never one as beautiful as this one. He lives on Lake Ontario, Canada.

Today our Central Iowa weather is very cold with blowing snow. I am hibernating next to the fireplace.

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2010

looking back on 1009 I lost a lot. I know I am not the only one. Losing a loved one is certainly a life changing event. I believe Glen would want me to continue by living a joyful life doing worthwhile things. I will try to do that.

I drew a fortune card today and it read:

GET CREATIVE AND HAVE FUN

Since I am not working anymore that certainly is my mantra for 2010. Wish me luck.
