Jan and I went to Farmington, Iowa ThursdayMay 28 until Sunday May 31. We rode our
animals in the Shimek State Forest. We ate out
every night and there was a dance on saturday
night.
There were a lot of people there as the camp
hosted a colt Challenge. 10 or 12 Trainers each
had a 4 year old filly that had never been handled. The goal was to ride the colt. The winner won a lot of money. They had to ride the
colt and not just buck them out.
I think I have found a new place to play.
Sounds like you two had a good time. I bet the colt starting thing was exciting. That campgound is so neat and the people who own it are very nice. Beautiful lodge!! Good for you Jeanie!!! I am so very proud of all you accomplishments.
